The Full and Half Marathon will share the same starting point in Newport Beach, adjacent to Fashion Island. All participants will head into Corona del Mar, loop back around beautiful Upper Newport Bay and beyond. Both races end at the OC Fair and Event Center in Costa Mesa. The courses are scenic, flat, fast, and showcase some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Orange County. As a matter of fact, the elevation is a net downhill, which gives you the chance to achieve your personal best! We're expecting great community spirit and crowd support from the neighborhoods and businesses along the course.
The Avia OC Marathon has also been chosen as the 2009 USATF Marathon Road Championship Series Race. If you are thinking of running a Southern California race in the Spring of 2009, you will want to run ours because the Avia OC Marathon will be second to none!

Running Clubs: We are offering a discount to running clubs that register 20 or more runners for the Avia OC Marathon. Please email us at runningclubs@ocmarathon.com to receive information on how to get your running club included in our discount program.
Expo: Our Health, Fitness and Nutrition Expo packets will be available in December. Please email us at expo@ocmarathon.com to receive a Vendor and Exhibitor Information Packet as soon as they are available.
